How I Can Help
Welcome. I work with children, adolescents, and young adults to foster healthy relationships, academic success, and a greater sense of self-worth and identity. My approach to therapy is warm, empathic, and direct, with an emphasis on tangible strategies and skills. Within the context of a caring and supportive relationship, I use evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, tailored to meet the needs of my clients.
Particular areas of expertise include: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and parent-child relationships. I also specialize in challenges relating to the transition to adulthood, including college applications, career exploration, identity development, and interpersonal relationships.
In addition to ongoing therapy, I provide consultations, as well as short-term executive function coaching to assist with organizational skills and time management.
I welcome clients of all cultures and backgrounds, and am dedicated to providing a safe and accepting space for exploration, growth, and change.
